    Publication
For all selected papers, the abstract will be available on the smartphone application of WCTR 2026.

In the submission process, authors were invited to specify whether they agree to propose their submitted papers for publication, which can be either the proceedings of the 2026 WCTR (named Procedia) or special issues of journals (notably Transport Policy and Case Studies in Transport Policy).

Authors who have proposed their papers to be considered for publication will be asked to confirm their decision after their papers are accepted for presentation at the 2026 WCTR. Then, they will be invited to revise their contributions according to the referees’ comments they will receive from the Scientific Committee.
Final confirmation to submit the revised papers for publication will be requested by end of July 2026.

Poster sessions – New format for WCTR 2026
For this edition, poster sessions benefit from a renewed format designed to enhance scientific exchange. At least one-third of WCTR contributions will be featured in poster sessions, held in a spacious and welcoming area designed for networking.

    Advantages of poster sessions include:
    • Presenters can explain their work during multiple presentation rounds
    • Presenters may be asked more questions, offering additional opportunities to disseminate their findings
    • Face-to-face interactions are more likely to stimulate meaningful connections that may continue after the conference

     Registration
The acceptance of a paper does not mean free-of-charge participation.
Registration, travel and accommodation will remain at the charge of accepted presenters.

The presenter author must be registered before May 11, 2026. Otherwise, the paper will not be accepted and will be withdrawn for the final program.

You will find more information directly on the congress website: https://www.wctr2026.fr/registration
